Prior to searching for the stores for the Generic drugs, you must have a little information regarding the branded drugs and the generic drugs. As the name suggests, the branded drugs refer to the drug that has a proper trademark and a proper brand name associated with it. These can only be found at certain drug stores that are renowned.

The generic drugs on the other hand are the alternatives that can be used in place of branded drugs. These do not have any brand name associated with them but tend to share the same ingredients and composition that the branded drugs have.

All of us are aware of the well known fact that any product that has the tag of a brand is available at a much higher price. Things are pretty similar in the field of drugs as well. The generic are comparatively cheaper and can be obtained at a much lower price and with lesser of the effort as compared to the branded drugs.

The branded drugs are costlier due to several reasons that include the fact that these require huge investments, require the approval from the Government and the promotion of the branded drugs require a huge input of money.
